And So We Begin Thursday, August 29, 2002 [ banter 1 ]

So we begin on a day that should have been pretty cool.  I slept in late, woke up to this AWESOME rain outside my window, and kicked my covers off and had one of those great big full-body stretches that lasts really long and gets you all sleepy again.  And then I looked @ the clock.  11:24am.  How the hell did I oversleep for 3.5 hrs???  They were NOT happy with me @ the Bank when I called in, but I smoothed it over and then they were fine.  Of all days though (pay day!)

So I spent the day cleaning up and packing for my trip this weekend.  Heading back to Texas to see the home folk, which'll be nice b/c I haven't been out there in over a year. 

The MTV VMA's are on right now and there was just a preview for that new Tom Greene movie.  Can somebody please tell me why they keep giving this fool movie deals?  Just tell me why.  I think I, along with the rest of America, deserve an explanation.
